Terms of Service

Last updated May 6, 2026.

1. The agreement

These terms govern your purchase and use of Strict Mode, a remote MCP server that delivers slash commands to MCP-compatible coding agents. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

2. Subscription & billing

Strict Mode is sold as a yearly subscription billed in US dollars through Stripe. The current price is shown on the pricing section of this site at the time of purchase. Your subscription auto-renews once every twelve months on the same date until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from the Stripe-hosted account portal linked in your purchase receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to Strict Mode and updates through the end of your current paid year. Cancellations do not trigger automatic refunds for the current period.

Prices may change for future renewal periods. We will notify you by email at the address used for purchase before any price change takes effect, leaving you time to cancel before the new price applies.

3. License

While your subscription is active, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Strict Mode from accounts and devices you personally control, for your own development work.

You may not resell, sublicense, or share access. The slash commands delivered by Strict Mode are made available under their own source license; you may read and reference them, but you may not redistribute the service or its contents publicly.

4. Updates

An active subscription includes access to updates released during your subscription period. We do not commit to a specific release schedule. If your subscription lapses, access to the MCP server is revoked.

5. Acceptable use

Strict Mode delivers prompts that run inside your coding agent. You are responsible for reviewing what those prompts instruct your agent to do on your machine and for the consequences of running them in your projects. Do not use Strict Mode for any unlawful purpose.

Strict Mode is sold as a single-developer tool. We may throttle or cancel access if usage is materially excessive compared with typical individual-developer use. Examples include automated traffic, sustained burst usage that degrades the service for others, and patterns that suggest resale or shared access. Where possible, we will contact you before taking action; in the case of cancellation for materially excessive use, a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your current period may be issued at our discretion.

6. Disclaimers

Strict Mode is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Strict Mode is not affiliated with Anthropic, Cursor, GitHub, Google, or any other coding-agent vendor. References to any third-party books, research, or methodologies are descriptive only; Strict Mode is not endorsed by any cited author, researcher, or publisher.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising out of or relating to Strict Mode will not exceed the amount you paid for your most recent subscription period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Strict Mode if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that imposes legal or operational risk. On termination for breach, no refund is owed for the current period.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers before they take effect.
